Mumbai also have two main research centers: Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (T.I.F.R.), and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (B.A.R.C.). Bhabha Institute also operates C.I.R.U.S., 40 mega watt nuclear reactor, which is located at their Trombay Institute.
मुंबई में दो प्रधान अनुसंधान संस्थान भी हैं: टाटा इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ फंडामेंटल रिसर्च (टी.आई.एफ.आर) तथा भाभा आण्विक अनुसंधान केन्द्र (बी.ए.आर.सी). भाभा संस्थान ही सी आई आर यू एस ४० मेगावाट नाभिकीय भट्टी चलाता है जो उनके ट्रॉंबे स्थित संस्थान में स्थापित है।
